There was not a big queue when I got to the surgery, because there were 5 people doing vaccinations. The nurse was lovely and very gentle and the experience was not horrible at all.
In spite of so called improvements to the telephone system last year, the only result has been longer queues and still no appointments when you finally get through. No access to appointments via the NHS app is equally frustrating.
Getting an appointment is almost impossible. Unless you are on the app at 8am by 8.10am there are none available.
When trying to get a appointment in the morning on the phone they have gone in 7 minutes and you have to hang up or keep on the phone only to be told the appointments are gone. Try again tomorrow.
Normally it is very difficult to get an appointment to see my particular GP. However, this appointment was for flu and covid jabs, I was called by the surgery when it was my turn, agreed a date and time, very easy. Thank you.
